Whenever someone gets married and a "no gifts, please" clause is attached to the invitation, my first thought is to make a donation to something like Child's Play on behalf of the nearly-newlyweds. As it turns out, there's another charity that will get some cash from me in the future, and it's run by some Nova Scotians. Called Frag for Cancer, the group runs a series of events in the hopes of sending some good ol' "BOOM! HEADSHOT!" love towards the defeat of the disease.

They recently had a big event (which I sorely missed), but that doesn't mean they're done! There will almost certainly be a fifth gaming event in the future, and they currently have some auctions for sweet gear happening through eBay. Trust me, it's much easier to convince your better half that buying a stupidly expensive Beatles Rock Band game (plus a Harmonix-signed shirt!) was worth the cash when you tell them all the money you spent is being put towards cancer research.
