Newmindspace is coming back to Toronto in October and Kevin+Lori be jonesin' for some good old capture the flag fun in Toronto's financial district. The rub is that they need supporters to open up their pockets a little bit to make it happen.
"Glowing necklaces are essential to gameplay: without them, somebody (er, more people) would surely get struck by cars! Caution tape just isn't visible enough, and leads to breaking the rules. Each year we spend approximately $800 on supplies for the game, and very rarely have our at-game donations reached even a quarter of that." -NMS
While not yet publicized on their site, rest assured you can still help make CTF Toronto 2009 happen by visiting their donation page and throwin' a few dollars their way. Check out the video below if you wanna know what to expect from the NMS duo, should the game happen this year.
ALSO! Newmindspace promises that there will be a Renegade Nuit Blanche Parade. They need volunteers to fill the following roles: + Gear (sound, power, etc.), drivers (for set-up, during the event, and after), parade marshals to deal with a potentially large unruly crowd and the traffic we will be disrupting, decoration (think huge flags and banners), performers & Artists (fire spinners/dancers/whatever skill you have), promoters (we need to get the word out far and wide), cupcakes (they are small and delicious).
If you can help them out, get in touch via email with them at NBRP09@gmail.com.
