Toronto event organizer, ARG enthusiast, and LARPing pally Star Spider has cooked up a really neat spell with fellow paladin friend Badger. They noticed that, despite their efforts to promote good will and compassion within the LARP they partake in, they were persecuted and seen as somewhat evil for doing so (for instance, not killing villains by choice). Realizing how totally topsy-turvy the situation was, they decided to flip things on their head, creating a simultaneously in-game and out-of-game spell that creates a positive out-of-game result for negative in-game occurrences. Watch the video that Star and her friends created to showcase the spell in action. Here's hoping that other pallies in other games catch on and create reality-crossing good-will spells as well!
